Chicks

cluck, cluck.... Our flock of 10 is still here,

after 4 full weeks, they have greatly increased in size. They have lived in a small box in the basement, to a larger box in the shop. I am hoping to soon, get them to a real chicken coop! One of the Amercuanas has quite the persoanilty, he/she is always perched on the waterer- makes for a pretty dirty water container. This particuliar chick has a knack for pooping all over my hand anytime I grab him. I am claiming it a him, until I see further proof otherwise. He is getting to be a real pain in the #@$! Besides the notorious, him- they are doing great. Jay loves to catch and hug and kiss all his chicks. Feel free to come by and visit the latest pets at our place anytime. The pics is not of the "him", but one of our cute Rhode Island Reds. Hoping to have some good eggs by mid summer!
