Countdown to Summer

I guess I have been counting down for quite a while, but it's for real right now! 1 more day, and it's a half day, YEHA!
We spent this past weekend at the Lake for a day. Mom, Dad, Jay, Scott and I all took Jakc out for his forst boat ride. It was so much fun. The lake was pretty full and muddy, but all the same to us, if we are on the boat. Jack did fairly well for a 7 1/2 month old. Grandma did drop Jay in, and fell overboard herself. Scott was the hero of the day, jumping in to save them. brrrrrrr.... Mom and Scott were both in their clothes, with no intentions of going under. Within 10 minutes, the accident was a joke- we will never forget.

Uncle Scott with his boy and Nephew Jack.
Doesn't he look great with 2?

As you may have seen from a few posts ago, we HAD two kittens- molly and millie. They were orange kittens that came as a little bit of a surprise. Well after 2 weeks of intense kitten care, they passed away. We were finsihed with kitties for a while. but, the past few days Jay has been claiming that he heard the kitties. He understood, that daddy burried them... but kept mentioning the kitties???? This afternoon he runs in and tells me, he sees them. I must have given him a crazy look, becasue he pulls me out, and sure enough there is 2 new kitties. A grey and a black. I get them some food and water, and we watch them eat. Then I hear more meowing.....???????? There is a 3rd in the beams of our smoke house. So now we are up to 3, possibly 4 kittens. I think all are black or grey with cute blue eyes. WOW, not the surprise I was looking for today.
ANYONE NEED A CAT???????????????
We aren't sure where these came from, Our tom cat, Jimmerz, Jimmy has been gone for a while and we didn't have a female, BUT the neghbors have quite the yard full. These may be offspring of Jimmy.

In the past week, Jay has had a blast with his remote control boat. Jay received this as a gift for Valentines Day, and has finally got to put it to use. It has travedl the waters in many areas. Our pond, creek and Gma Betty's pond.

Jay has started to be very concerned with his smell. Oftne we will find him, layering 3 kinds of deodorant in his pits. He then comes running out, and wants you to smell his armpits. Dove, speed stick and arrid are his choice brands....
