Jay and Sara, playing "mom and dad" in our tent.
Scott and George were the main chefs of the weekend. The food was delicious.
5 1/2 dozen fresh my hens, eggs ready for breakfast.
Bob brought down a snapper he had caught on his way. It wasn't really big, but sure had a mean bite. The kids, all wanted a peak.
by the way, why does blogger take so long to load photos??? this has been an all day event...
Jay and Tyler lounging by the bank of the river. What a life.
Jay and Julia had a blast catching baby minnows, and crawdads in a mud hole. The treasures they found...
A group of us, walked to the bridge. It was a short, but fun journey.
The sand pile hauled down by Bob is always such a hit. When at the campsite and pavilion, this is where you will find the kids.
Miss Kara is checking out the fish caught that afternoon. The kids wanted to put some poles in the water, the adults decided to let them, and this was the result. No one was expecting such a great catch from a few kids.
The end of the night. After an hour and half of waiting to see if the rain would stop, everyone decided to pack up and come home. It was a decision that didn't make the kids happy. There was a lot of crying and tired whines, but coming home was the best idea. It ended up raining through the night. 2 nights would have been perfect, but we will gladly settle for 2 days and 1 night. Better luck next time.
