Happy Memorial Day!

We have so much to be happy about. 6 more days of school! Jay and I can hardly stand it. We are also ending a great 3 day weekend. Friday night, I can't even remember anymore, but it must have been nice.... Saturday was graduation at school- the one I work at. I had 29 former students graduating, that is quite a few, for the students I have! I have to say I was very proud of so many there. It was a nice ceremony, and I ended the evening at a co-worker's, daughter's graduation party.

Sunday was spent at the "RIVER". This is a tradition, that Scott's family has been part of, for over 30 years. They go twice a year, and I can't wait for the Labor DAy weekend one, it is a camppout! I have been Memorial Day weekend, once before, but it was not near as fun. Jay loved it, and so did Scott and I. We grilled pork steaks, and had tons of snacks. The "MOMS" parked ourselves by the river, while the kids played in and out of the water. We found tadpoles, frogs, minnows and even some crawdads. Margariatas and Gin Jugs were consumed, so everyone was SMILING! Storms were in the forecast for the entire day, but they gave us sun and storm free skies from noon til around 7. At 8- the downpour began and we finally gave up and came home.

Today, the forecast was the same, scattered t- storms all day. We had planned to go to the Lake with mom and dad. But after a stormy night and cool and cloudly morning, we decided not to. SO- the sun has been shining ever since. Oh well, we have had a great day working around the yard and I'm kind of catching up on my cleaning. not that I really wanted the time to. Jay is getting lots of daddy time, and so proud to help him with everything.
