We'd love to thank George and Sharon for this trip! THANKS a BUNCH!
Here a a few or a lot of pics from the weekend. I'm trying to get caught up on the blogging.
We got to share and room with Mark, Angie and Tyler. Jay had a blast cuddlign with his cousin. Even though this sleeping arrangement didn't last, they had fun on the pull out couch.
Shortly after arriving, Jay HAD to get on the dock and help keep the water level where it was. What a little country boy! One day, we'll have to teach him what bathrooms are for!
Could he look, any more excited to be on the boat?
The big boys, swimming off the beach in the lake. Jay loved every minute of trying to keep up with all the big kids.
Jay and his Grandma Sharon- THANKS for a great trip!
Angie and Tyler on Tyler's first boat ride.
On Monday, it not only was our 7th anniversary, it was George's 61st birthday. As tradition would have it, all the men went golfing. In addition to the usual 12 ish from our trip, the Grateke's were down at the lake too. So I think the group ended up being 19 men, all from the same hometown, but out of town. 18 holes and a questionable amount of shots later, this is what came back from the golf course. We (Scott) had a pretty rough ride home that evening. I really like that Scott and his dad, chose to dress alike for the day. Love was in the air!
What a cool mom- NOT! After getting Jay all geared up for a ride on the waverunner, Alicia hopped on with us, for us to be told we needed to fill it with gas before we took it out. OK FINE>>>>So, we drove around the cove to the gas pump. I was told, I needed to ramp the wave runner on this little floating dock to get it to reach the pump. Just as I'm starting to line it up- Alicia mentions, that this wave runner tips very easily. Well- that was it, over we went. Jay was upset and we were all soaked and under water. After getting back on- Jay decided that was enough of a ride from mom. Do I get points for trying?
Just some of the kids at the lake with us. Angie is hiding behind Tyler, and there I am- in all my glory in a swim suit, just showing off my built in flotation devices :) We had so much fun with all the activity the kids bring.
