Saturday we had breakfast at Grandma Sharon and Grandpa George's. The entire FAM was there, minus a few, but nonetheless it was a great morning with delicious food! Then Jay and I were off to the lake. Scott had great weather and TIME to bale, so he spent the weekend baling hay. Poor guy is always working so hard. He missed out on a lot of fun, but had a little himself. The hay did great, all the rain has really helped it thicken up.
Binoculars are a big item of interest to Jay. He loves to check things out, across the lake.
After the lake, we headed back for a MU football game at Neal and Melinda's. We were a little late as USUAL! But had a great time. Scott was loving it. Neal pulled a big screen into his backyard, had a canopy and lawn chairs set up. Beer and shots were passed. everyone had a great time! Scott left sober, he was still feeling his anniversary liquor I guess... :)
Sunday morning, Jay and I were pleasantly surprised with some visitors. Dan and Nick. Dan brought Nick down for some country time. These guys are the son and hubby of one of my good friends from college. She was hard at work and her boys were out playing! :) -Jay got to ride along on Dan's 4-wheeler, and found a new idol that day. After a long, hot ride in back, Jay noticed that Dan took off one of his 2 shirts. Since then, Jay insists on wearing 2 shirts. Nick and Jay really hit it off, and I know they will continue to be great buds.
After our morning at home, we rushed to Sara's for the end of the year pool party. Un fortunately we had a lot to do that day, and ended up arriving late and leaving early. I hated this, and wish we could redo the day. Sara's pool is such a great time and seems to bring so many friends and family together!

Jay, Kennadie, and Miss Kaylee- Ben's G-FRIEND! Jay is slightly jealous of big cousin Ben, and hopes that one day Kaylee will be his.
Sunday was busy, after Sara's we headed to Jill and Phil's for a BBQ. We were a little late, and the crowd retired early, so we had some fun with Jay and Jack and left to spend the night at the lake.

Monday- Jay and I hit the lake again! Can never get enough! There were so many beautiful sailboats out. Jay and I love to sailboat spot!
The end to a very long, busy, far traveled- but fun weekend~ Naps in the boat are the best.

AS we were heading back Scott got to have a little fun. The IOWAegians were in town. These are a group of men, that the men from around here, hunt pheasant with in the fall. Early September the come visit here, and hunt dove. The guys had a BBQ and then hit the VFW!
Now, why do I have a pile of laundry as big as the three of us? Almost rested up for the next weekend! I'm hoping this next one we have all together! Hope everyone had a great one too!
