Almost 4!!!

WOW, we can hardly believe it, Scott and I have been parents for almost 4 years. Pretty amazing that we have raised such a sweet and wonderful guy. It makes me proud to be called mom, when I see Jay. Not only have we been parents for 4 years, there are 2 sets of grandparents, 3 aunts and 2 uncles that all had their title given for the 1st time, 4 years ago. Jay has given a lot of people a very important job.
Jay requested an airplane party, which was accomplished through the cake, cookies and many flight themed gifts. The trampoline will be my favorite. I can't wait to fly on it. The weather was beautiful, and almost everyone was able to make it. THANKS TO EVERYONE!!!!
Scott, the chef, grilling up some mean pork loin. YUM!

Jay and his cousins, Tyler and Jack in the garden. Jay is showing the boys how it's done. Not sure what they are doing, but... Jack tried eating some of it, and had to be quickly escorted out of the garden.

Daddy on the roof, getting a airplane down. If definitely flew the 100 ft the box said.

the man of the day, with his birthday hat, and airplane cake, on his spinning cake stand, that plays "Happy Birthday". Can you say over stimulation? It is becoming tradition for mom to make Jay's birthday cake, and see what kind of disaster she can produce. A homemade cake is so worth the joke it makes.

Here is Papa Ron and Jack. Jack will be turing 1 next week, and has started trying more and more people food. Sue Schuette's cookies were worth double fisting it. Good thing, Aunt Kim is bringing him, his own next week.

Another HOT gift was jay's new hand truck. After days of summer working at school with mom, Jay became interested in hand trucks. So Papa Ron, the kind of hardware tools and supplies, found one just right for Jay. He was thrilled and gladly used his hand truck to deliver bags of produce from the garden to every one's truck.

Swing, batter, batter, swing! One of Jay's many gifts was a big boy t-ball set, with bases, a few balls and glove. Jay has shown a huge interest in playing ball. From my eyes, I see a lot of natural talent. Of course, I can barely see a ball flying
right at me. jay had Papa George, Daddy, Angie and Uncle Mark all giving him pointers and helping him play. Tyler tried as hard as he could to hit the ball, then decided it was better for him to be the catcher, and run after the balls. Doesn't everyone play ball in cowboy boots?
