Anyway, I really have no idea what happened during the game ,but Jay and Tyler had a blast. There was some bow and arrow(ball) shooting and lots of messes made by some wild and crazy boys. Tyler and Jay have a blast together. And that Tyler, whewie, for being such a petite guy, he sure can hold his own when playing with a big boy.
I feel terrible I never mention my first children on this blog. Abbey and Wilson. Pre-Jay they were all I talked about.
2 weeks ago, during a chaotic afternoon home, Jay accidentally lost hold of the door and it slammed on Abbey's tail. It bled like crazy and then stopped, so 2 days later, I took them in for shots, only to have Jill tell me that it needed to pretty much be sewn back together. I was a bad tear, and was very infected. Scott seemed to think we were all overacting, he wanted to let it go. So after a night at the animal clinic, anesthesia and minor surgery Abbey has her tail sewn back on. She is not a fan of her cone, I could only bear to make her wear it the first few days. Now that she is healed up well, she just needs her many stitches removed.
Now onto this weekend. Saturday was busy, busy, busy! In the morning we started cooking for our relatives. Scott, George and Jay loaded up calves to be worked and moved to another farm, then we headed over to the land to clear more trees.
I had to get a pic of my strong, little farm boy, turning the water on. ugh, it is so hard to do!
One calf, looking out at us. Obviously not enjoying her time in the trailer.
At the land. Jay was such a good boy. He spent a lot of time in the truck, while we all worked. Dad, sawed and we all hauled wood, trees and branches to one of the many burn piles we have started. We had tons of help from both of our parents. Thanks everyone. We couldn't do it without you!
Jay and both of his grandmas!
Jay and both of his grandmas!
This is Murphy, I guess you could call him my brother. My parents got him form the pound, when I was first teaching. He was estimated to be a 70 lb dog. Well 130 lbs later, here's Murphy. He really is the sweetest dog, next to mine. Jay and I were checking out the new creek and Murphy came to see what we had found.
