Jay has continued to amaze us with his swimming skills. Daddy has now gotten in the pool 2 times this summer and both were this weekend. It may have had something to do with 98 degree days in the hay field. Jay and I have also hit a public pool twice this week. Jay's first time with this kind of pool, but he loves it, just as his mom always did. Tyler and Angie went with us today and loved it as much as we did. The boys couldn't slow down. They were possibly playing with their eyes closed. It was minutes after being in the car, and both were out for the count. I saw an old guard from my days of managing and it brought back such good memories of sun burned skin and chlorine :)
We are now in RUSH mode to fulfil all of our summer dreams. Well some may not be complete, but we have played pretty hard to get lots of fun in. Vacations to the ocean and buying a home have not been accomplished, but we are working hard on both. Home first, ocean second. But we sure have gotten the daily fun in, our garden is huge and looks great! Pray for rain this evening, we walk, walk and walk. Our chickens have grown so big, and we are just waiting for the eggs to start, and we have SWAM everywhere- pool's lakes, creeks, and rivers. Doesn't matter to us, just give us water.... Thanks to all of those, that help supply us with water. Sara, mom, dad, Sharon, George and thanks for everyone that shares these fun times with us!
18 days left!
