the smile a pine tree puts on my face...

Not a whole lot to post. We have had a wonderfully, low key weekend. Lots of football watching, and napping, while I played on the computer. Jay took this yesterday of me and one of my hens. I hope you can see me, in my walking coat. :) Wouldn't want a hunter to think I was anything but me!

After finsihing our Christmas decorations and lights this year. I had to post a picture from 8 years ago. This was a tree that Scott cut down, decorated and strung lights on that was standing on our pond. The pond wad frozen over, and Scott ran extension cords over 500 feet, through the woods to the closest shed. On Christmas Eve 2000, Scott woke me up before daylight to help him check on the calving cows. As we were driving to "look" for cows in trouble. I spotted lights. There it was, out in the middle of a frozen pond, a lit up Chrismtas tree. Under the tree was a tiny package and a card. "Will You Marry Me?" was written inside with a beautiful ring in the box. OF COURSE!!!! It has been a wonderful 8 years!
