So, I have considered buying Jay a slip n slide.... Not that I think he needs anymore toys, but I do have so many fun memories on one, that I brought up the idea. All Jay could reply with was a no thanks. I guess after the water park drama earlier in the week, he wasn't in any kind of mood for another water slide. I tried explaining that it was something fun, and he would like it. As we know, mom was right! :) Jay loved it, Maybe we should have tried this BEFORE taking him to a water park. The best parenting is learned through mistakes, isn't it?
Jay ended up thoroughly enjoying his time on his new slip n slide. Not only is it fun, but it has Diego on it. Jay was slightly insulted that dad would even ask, why he did not get a Dora one. " They were pink, Dad! "
So after a morning of slip n sliding, running errands and just being a boy, Jay fell asleep on daddy. What a strange position, but it seems to work for the both of them.
